I'm an ASMR streamer on Twitch, can I nominate myself?
Of course! Who knows your content better than you? If you feel you even have a small chance of winning any of these awards, feel free to do a self-nomination. It is also strongly recommended to tell your community why you think you can win and give them examples (Stories, clips, links to images) they can use when nominating you too. You want to make sure you do outright ask your community to nominate you, as only the ASMR streamers with the most nominations will make it to the voting stage to potentially win.

The ASMR Streamer Awards fully intends to be as transparent as we can, and inclusive, and is open to feedback and suggestions via email.
Why don't you allow ASMR Streamers from other sites like TikTok or YouTube?
Twitch is the platform where traditional ASMR has become a hard-to-find minority, therefore one of the main purposes of this event is to help showcase traditional and classic ASMR on Twitch. However, this event is open to feedback.
How does the committee work?
A lot of this awards show is inspired by The Streamer Awards hosted by QTCinderella. She does employ the committee method, including adding an extra nominee per category as decided by the committee to prevent a popularity contest, and having committee voting factor in that's weighted more heavily towards the community vote. However, the ASMR community is very small in comparison to the streamer community as a whole, it's not expected to become a popularity contest. Therefore, the committee will be used to select an extra nominee for each category, but The ASMR Streamer Awards will not use weighted voting, unless in the case of a tie.
Long-time viewers of the community who are not mods of SquishShe's channel will be selected to help suggest the extra nominee per category due to their involvement in the category, and subsequent ability to suggest streamers that truly deserve to be recognized. Another ASMR twitch streamer will participate in the committee as well so that SquishShe will not be the sole streamer on the committee. They will not be eligible to win an award. Committee members will remain anonymous to prevent streamer's communities trying to influence them.
The ASMR Streamer Awards fully intends to be as transparent as we can, and inclusive, and is open to feedback. Changes have been made based on feedback before, notably allowing non-fetishzing ear licking.
